BOB BLANKENSHIP,
BENEFITS CONSULTANT - ENTREPRENURIAL DIVISION

Bob Blankenship has worked in the Houston employee benefits market for 36 years. He has experience in all aspects of the business including medical, ancillary and voluntary benefits and is a great asset to Americanized Benefit Consultants as a Benefit Consultant.

He began his career in 1972 with Blue Cross – Blue Shield in direct sales. In 1978, Bob opened the Houston Group Office for CNA. He has also worked for Great West Life, Phoenix Mutual and Provident Mutual.

In 1988, Bob joined Mutual of Omaha as a sales representative where he led the Houston Group Office in sales in each of his first seven years. He was promoted to District Manager in 1996 and his office was consistently in the Top 10. His office led the company in total sales in 2000 and 2002. In 2004, he began working for AFLAC and he continues to represent them as part of his current position at Americanized Benefit Consultants.

Bob is very active in his church, singing in the choir and involved in the Men’s Ministry. He is a Lifetime Committeeman for the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. In 2008, he was part of the inaugural Rodeo Choir. Bob is married and has three grown children and three grandsons.
